Our Story
Electrical Takeoff & Estimating Built for Brick Contractors
Brick's lagoon neighborhoods and barrier-island beaches keep elevation, piling, and renovation work moving, alongside retail along Routes 70 and 88. We prepare electrical estimates for that full range of work, from whole-house renovations to smaller jobs in Brick Beach and the Route 70 corridor.
Floodplain rules in Ocean County often require raising service equipment, panels, and meter banks above design flood elevation. That changes feeder lengths and adds platforms, so we measure feeders to the elevated locations shown on the drawings. Coastal Brick projects need electrical equipment above design flood elevation, corrosion-resistant enclosures and fittings, and sometimes NEMA 4X gear near salt air.
Each takeoff is built in ConEst, McCormick, Bluebeam Revu, and PlanSwift from your current plan set and checked against the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code (UCC) electrical subcode, which adopts the National Electrical Code, including NEC-driven receptacle spacing, AFCI/GFCI protection, emergency lighting, and EV-ready circuits. Electrical quantities are organized by area, floor, and system to match how Brick contractors actually bid.
Remote Estimation has prepared estimates on more than 5,000 projects for 500+ contractors, and that experience goes into every Brick electrical bid we touch. We can price electrical labor at union, prevailing-wage, or open-shop rates. In New Jersey, NJDOL publishes the prevailing wage rates used on public works and many publicly assisted redevelopment jobs. Share your plans and scope, and we'll send a fixed quote within an hour.
